Don't let the word 'dainty' fool you! This is a lovely, very feminine necklace. I've been looking for an angel wing necklace for some time, and the only things I've been able to find that appealed to me were gold plated. When I came across this one, I was a little skeptical when I saw the word 'dainty', but I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! This is not a big bold piece, but it still has presence. The chain is delicate, but sturdy, so it can show off the moderately sized bright, buttery yellow gold wings. You could change out the chain, but I think anything bolder would take away from the wings, which should be the center of attention. There's a spring ring clasp because a lobster claw clasp would be too weighty. The clasp should be the appropriate size and weight for the chain/necklace it's connected to. Wear this everyday with any outfit. Wear it as a fashion necklace or to remind you that there are angels watching over you. What a comforting feeling! I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I think you will be too.
